FAQ
- How does Clipboard Image Drop work?
- It listens for your paste event, converts the clipboard image to JPG in your browser, and writes it to the folder you selected.
- Where are my images stored?
- In the local folder you choose. If your browser cannot write to a folder, the image is saved through a normal browser download instead.
- Are my images uploaded anywhere?
- No. All processing happens in your browser, and your images are never sent to any server.
- Which browsers are supported?
- Writing directly into a folder needs the File System Access API, available in desktop Chrome and Edge. Other modern browsers can still paste, and the image is downloaded instead.
